Shefa means abundance.Shmata is Yiddish for a rag - old clothing or something worn and ordinary.One speaks to blessing. The other to humility.

Together, they reflect something deeply Jewish, specifically from the Hasids: finding meaning, beauty, and holiness in everyday life. Finding the divine everywhere.

This brand was born from the feelings I keep returning to in relationship to god and my jewish family along the west coast.
